Comics: stories of service members

As the Education Materials and Products designer, there were many opportunities to visually narrate stories of service members who are afflicted with traumatic brain injury. By humanizing concussions in military health care, more empathy is developed for these patients.

I collaborated with military veterans on staff, clinical subject matter experts (SMEs), and civilian leadership to ensure the stories from the field were accurate and handled such a serious subject matter delicately.
