board game: the ux design process

I enrolled in an Interaction Design class at Austin Community College and one of the assignments was to design a board game. As somebody coming from a background in comics, I have a tendency to focus on the visual narrative, which made the iterative prototyping of this game a great challenge.

Mapping out task flows, playtesting, and building upon the feedback of pain points helped me understand game mechanics in a physical space. 

 While creating this board game was a great experience, the next iteration will be a computer game. Ultimately, I’d like to pitch Food Truck Wrestling to an independent gaming company.


How could a board game teach players to cook while also using wrestling moves to defeat the opponent?
